I still can't believe he's gone, cuz I can still hear his remarkable voice in my head. Slim and I connect over the miles and have the music to carry us through, thankfully. Bill was a great songwriter and larger than life. A legend, a teacher and an immense talent.
Looking around today through the stark trees swelling with potential apple blossoms, I am reminded of the cycle of life and with this in mind, I have rekindled the spark and desire to play and even perform. I have a few shows coming up this summer and fall in BC with the irrepressable Damian Graham on drums and the stellar grooves of Scott White (The Bills, Marc Atkinson) on bass. I am stoked. Hope to see you all out there.
